Common Whitetail
A Widow Skimmer perches on a plant stem (above). This Blue Dasher's wings (right) reveals damage that has occurred during its short life.

A Scarlet Skimmer, in the two photos above, showed up at our ponds this summer. This is a non-native dragonfly in Tennessee.
